Meet the crew
Get to know our very capable dive team before you arrive on Saba... They have many other talents besides diving, some are multi-lingual, musical, a great laugh and you'll enjoy many a fun evening talking over your dives or just shooting the breeze at sunset over a few beers in the Saba "Vortex". Rodney
Rodney

Nationality: South African

From January 2010 on Rodney is our new dive base leader. With all the years of experience working for Saba Divers and all the knowledge he gained during this time in our dive operation, Rodney was the natural choice for this position. We are very happy that Rodney decided to take on this challange after being senior staff for some years now.

His qualifications are: PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer, Boat Captain and Guitarist. A solid guy who organizes calm, safe and exciting dives, he's been a very dependable boat captain for us over the years and a hard worker. He returned to Saba Divers two years ago, after working for some time in the Caymans and Egypt. It's good to have him back. Rachel, his wife, one of our former instructors runs now an outstanding bakery business in the village of Windwardside and they intend to stay here on Saba for some more years if not.......for ever ;-)

Fred
Fred

Nationality: Canadian

Fred doesn't need an intruduction on Saba. He and his wife Kelly worked here for years and are well-known in the dive community for their integrity and knowledge, love of diving and protection of the enviroment. Fred is from Canada and a PADI MSDT. As said before he has worked on Saba for several years now and is a quite popular instructors and knows his way around in the Saba Marine Park. We are happy to have him on board as an additional asset to our already great dive crew.

Nationality: English

Christos is from England with Greek heritage. He just sailed the Atlantic with his German girlfriend Ina who works in the office now. Christos is a PADI MSDT, a friendly and fun character and a great sailor and dive guide. We are happy to have Christos in our team and he is looking forward to serve you as good as it gets.

Wolfgang
Nationality: German

PADI Master Instructor and experienced Dive Guide. Wolfgang is always there for your information and help. He is the owner of Saba Divers & Scout's Place Hotel doved the whole world and is well-known in the dive scene and ...........he is a great personalite too.
